Born in Zimbabwe, arrived in New Zealand many moons ago and love my life here. Now at a stage in life where time seems to pass more quickly every year, so what’s left is very precious! Mother of one son, slave to one cat, still working part-time but due to retire in 2016, and looking forward to having more time to spend on some of my passions such as quilting, reading and generally just enjoying life 🙂

    • Awww, thank you! Since getting more involved in quilting over the last couple of years my blogging has definitely slowed down, but I enjoy sharing news of my projects and love reading others’ blogs as well – always enjoy yours too! 🙂

  3. I was always curious what life is in New Zealand. I have a few friends who went there and they say it’s just beautiful and serene. Thanks for sharing your amazing world.

    • Thank you! Photos of my childhood always make me smile, and I consider myself very fortunate to have had the wonderful experience of growing up in Zimbabwe, with loving parents and lots of brothers and sisters to play with 🙂 Lots and lots of happy memories …
