Weekly Photo Challenge: Up

Perhaps I’ve taken a little bit of liberty with my interpretation of this topic, although all the photos were taken looking up … I trust you’ll forgive me 🙂

    • Thank you so much! I just love taking photos, but sometimes – no, make that often! – find it hard to choose which ones to leave out: I have to be very stern with myself, otherwise you’d all be drowning in them! 🙂

    • Thanks, Jill – those arched windows are in the Museum, which is alongside the Botanic Gardens (which I think you visited when you were here in 1992 – didn’t we go to look at the begonias then??). I really liked the way things were reflected in them in the warm, late afternoon light – it’s such a great time of day to take photos, and the autumn colours at the moment are just beautiful. I’m off to the Grand Pumpkin Festival at Lincoln tomorrow – should be fun, and plenty of opportunities for photos, I hope! 🙂

  1. LOL, thank you Fay! 🙂 Went for a walk in the Botanic Gardens yesterday afternoon, which is where some of these were taken – lots and lots of people with the same idea, it was lovely to see everyone enjoying the holiday and the fine weather that went with it. Some of the kids were having a ball with the autumn leaves, it was fun to watch 🙂
